When we were in Louisiana, we drove out to China, Texas, to visit Herb's new baby boy TWINS! Why did I not take pictures of them? I have no good answer. They looked like most newborns do, kind of wrinkly and cute.

China, Texas is like a Gummo town. Chain link fences, dogs that bark, and nothing to do. I felt at home, because I grew up in a similar type of place. We used to play at an abandoned building site, and at a place where they would put water in those big tanker trucks.

The town is one street, and that's it. And at the end of the street, there is a rice farm that Herb now owns! So cool. He took us out to this big lake that they built out of nothing, just for fun. They have all the tractors to do anything like this that they want.

GUMMO!

We played a lot of Wii which is good for kids, because you are not constantly watching them, so they can get up to all kinds of mischief. Ivo was pretty content to watch us play Wii tennis, but then all of a sudden he wasn't there. I heard wailing, and found him with his butt sticking out of the chihuahua's travel cage. He had crawled all the way in, and for a second I thought we would need the jaws of life. I got him out though.

We tore ourselves away from mind-control Wii, and cooked spaghetti and meatballs. Ivo regarded his plate carefully, and pronounced, pointing at a meatball, "Poo poo!" That was kind of awkward, but then he ate it anyway, and we could have a silent Wii laugh. Poo poo eating! Ha!
