Christmas morning. I can't really remember when we all woke up (EARLY), but I do remember thinking, "I have GOT to take a shower". Ivo was oblivious to the Christmas nonsense, but he was freaking out on the Mylar paper that John got.
My best friend's mom, Cynthia, got Ivo some cute presents! She is Ivo's surrogate grandma, just like she was my surrogate mom in high school!
Grandma Carolyn got him cool stuff too! This kid lucked OUT for Christmas. The only thing we got him was glow in the dark pajamas. We have plenty of time to buy him stuff, right?
I distinctly remember my mom saying she only got Ivo "three things". She got him a billion things! (All cute, too... I sympathize, it's fun shopping for little babies..) I call her later and she says, "I only got him three TOYS." Ha.
Pre-nap time. I love this face. Such a John expression.
He woke up from his nap with a mustache and beauty mark?! Those French genes are coming out.
All in all, Christmas was super fun. Sorry this post doesn't have more irony and bitterness in it! Suck it, Mr. Scrooge!
