All the Mexican grandmas in the neighborhood are worried about Ivo. Specifically about his balls. Whenever they see me carrying him around in the Baby Bjorn, which as you can see, suspends him from, well, pretty much his balls, they have to intervene. They come over to me and ask, "Isn't that going to hurt his..." and they gesticulate to the gonad area. I don't know what to tell them. I tried to say that there was a long history of using the Bjorn in... Denmark? Where is Bjorn Bork from? And that all those people manage to grow up with non-mangled balls. I think. Never mind. Plus, if he can fall asleep so peacefully in the thing, it can't be too bad for his cojones. Except when he wakes up, he is a little pissed....

P.S. Today Ivo rolled over for the first time. He did this when I was not in the room! He's so sneaky! I left the room, he was on his back. I heard him crying from the other room, and when I returned, he was on his stomach! The funny thing is in all the developmental charts, they are supposed to learn to roll from their front to back before learning the other way, back to front. And the other funny thing is that he HATES being on his stomach, so once he flips over, he's screwed.

That's it.

I think we should arrange a marriage between Hayden and Ivo. Hayden's first roll was also from back to front and she also does not approve of Tummy Time. She moans and snuffles and tries to suffocate herself and stuff.

You have one seriously beautiful baby.

Cheers!
